Centre closed due to COVID-19 until further notice

To help with public health efforts to limit the spread of COVID-19, we will be closing the Edmonton Shambhala Centre until further notice. Health authorities are requesting we all do our part to try to “flatten the curve”.  This means that all face-to-face programs, events and practice sessions at the Centre will be cancelled indefinitely.

The Welcoming the Unwelcome book study of Pema Chodrin’s latest book will now be offered via zoom starting Wednesday, April 8, 7 pm.  Please go to our programs page for more information and register for the course.

For another virtual way to connect with practice and study, we invite you to visit Shambhala Online:  https://shambhalaonline.org

The Edmonton Shambhala Centre, along with the Shambhala Board, extends compassion towards all who are affected directly by the pandemic through sickness, quarantine, scarcity, fear and stress.  In these challenging times, please remember to take good care of yourself and others.  We can all think of our neighbours and how we might be helpful.  Keep meditating!
